The increasing development of storage systems connected to electrical networks is stimulated by network management issues related recent energetic landscape evolutions such as the integration renewable production sources. Hydro-pneumatic seem offer a clean and cheap energy solution among set existing techniques. present study analyses an air–water direct contact accumulation system, in closed cycle, using rotodynamic reversible pump/turbine. use unique conversion machine easy-to-recycle materials could lead cost-effective, environmentally friendly technique with long service life. paper focused on experimental implementation analysis system Lab environment, modeling its multi-physic dynamic behavior. To deal variable operating conditions two different real time control strategies hydraulic were successfully tested. Finally, global efficiency discussed. strategy was achieved 31% round trip power 5% 23% precision exchanged charge discharge modes respectively. model led 4% error turbine mode acceleration prediction showing interest method for transient systems.
